Hoho Market branding
hoho market is a snack shop in davis that carries treats from all over asia—japanese gummies, thai chips, korean sodas. it’s a favorite among international students, but their store had no branding. just shelves, snacks, and vibes.
they needed something that matched the energy of the products—bright, fun, and a little chaotic (in a good way).
i designed a logo that felt like it belonged on a snack wrapper. chunky, friendly type with playful curves. bold colors pulled straight from the products on their shelves.
i also created storefront signage and shelf labels to help with wayfinding and give the whole place a more cohesive look.
the new identity gave hoho market a personality—something students recognized, posted, and shared. it didn’t just look better—it helped the store feel like a destination.
