Sacramento Guitar society rebrand

sacramento guitar society promotes classical guitar through concerts, community programs, and education. their old branding didn’t really reflect the quality of what they were doing—it felt dated, inconsistent, and a bit disconnected from the audience they were trying to reach.

the goal was to create a visual identity that respected the tradition of classical guitar while feeling approachable and current.

i redesigned the logo to echo the form of a guitar without being too on-the-nose. paired it with a serif typeface for a sense of history, and built a minimal color palette.

i also created templates for programs, flyers, and digital content so the team could keep things consistent moving forward.

the deliverables: logo suite with horizontal, stacked, and icon-only formats, typography and color guidelines, internal and external marketing collateral, style guide.

the result: a clearer, more unified identity that helps them reach new audiences while staying true to who they are.
